The most important decision, question that you will make

The most important decision, question that you will make in your whole life is who is Jesus Christ in fact?  the central, and too often even most misunderstood Person of human history. Who is Jesus Christ? The Bible is about Jesus. He is pictured or prophesied about in each of the 66 books as well as in countless types in the lives of different characters in the Bible.  The Whole Bible is About Jesus! Jesus is in every book of the Bible.

Jesus was, is still is one of the most influential person  that has walked the earth, He  lived during the height of the Roman Empire, at the beginning of our common era. Jesus began his travels by healing and feeding the populace, giving evidence of his  wondrous miracles, teaching about this Heavenly  kingdom of the truth, light, faith and love, a judgment era, and the aggregating of his chosen, the whole  Church of Jesus Christ. During the infancy of the Roman Empire and the end of the Republic, Tiberius was the Emperor during the three in and a half-year ministry of Jesus. The glorious temple of Herod the Great stood atop the mount in Jerusalem. The religion of Judaism then had flourished under the Scribes and Pharisees under Roman supervision. All the Jews and Romans of this era died,  but Jesus lived on. Why?

Firstly Jesus was not another  man child  born into this world who became God next. Jesus was God himself come to earth in the flesh. Jesus was the anointed one. Jesus is the Messiah and  the transliteration of the Old Testament Hebrew word pronounced maw-shakh, meaning Anointed One, which when translated into the New Testament Greek is Christos.

Died: c. 30 A.D. (crucifixion)
Resurrected: c. 0 A.D. (Jerusalem )

Acts 10:38 KJV How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.   1 John 3:8  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.   Hebrews 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  Matthew 11:28-30   Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.  Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. (Jer 29:19 KJV)  Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 43:12 I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the LORD, “that I am God.”

The anointing that the devil and his false followers do still wrongfully hate and oppose, lie about is this..  (Mark 16:17 KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Acts 1:8 KJV)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Who did Jesus claim to be as per the Bible?

“When Moses met God in the wilderness and asked His name, God replied ‘I AM THAT I AM…This you shall to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.’ So the God of Israel revealed Himself as ‘I AM’. Jesus claimed this name for himself showing He was Israel’s God and Messiah, and in doing so, risked being stoned for blasphemy.

John 8:56-58 ‘Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” “You are not yet fifty years old,” the Jews said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!” “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I AM!” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself.
John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8:23-24 But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I AM, you will indeed die in your sins.”

John 11:25-27 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she told him, “I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.”

John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.

John 10:24-33 The Jews gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

There are so many more passages like these, but even limiting ourselves to the above quotes, any honest reader can see exactly what Jesus was claiming about himself. Like C.S Lewis wrote in the quote above, He was claiming to be the promised Messiah, God in the flesh. And He also claimed to be the only way of salvation. At this point, you may be saying ‘I can see that He claimed to be God, but how do we know that the Bible record of His claims are accurate?’ One of the most compelling proofs that God gives us is in the fulfillment of prophecy. No other religious books such as the Koran contain detailed prophecies. The God of the Bible declares:

Isaiah 46:9-10 ‘I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand and I will do all that I please.’

Jesus Claimed To Fulfill The Old Testament Prophecies

Luke 24:44-47 Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you-that everything written about me in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and he said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
John 5:45-46 But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

Mark 14:61-63 Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. “You have heard the blasphemy. (Ed Note: the Son of Man sitting at the right hand and coming on the clouds was a key specific prophecy about the Messiah from the Old Testament book of Daniel.)

So Jesus claimed to be the Messiah that had been prophesied to come in numerous passages in the Old Testament. What I would like to concentrate on now, is one chapter in the Old Testament that specifically tells us about the life and even death of the Messiah. This chapter is Isaiah 53. The entire scroll of the prophet Isaiah was found within the dead sea scrolls and if has been verified to be completely accurate with the version in our Bibles today. So you be the judge, for with the discovery we know for a fact that the following chapter was written hundreds of years before Jesus was even born.

Isaiah 53 – The Life And Death Of Messiah Prophesied

The following chapter was written around 700BC. From the earliest days Isaiah 53 was interpreted by the Jews as applying to the Messiah. However, with it’s clear fulfillment in the person of Jesus Christ, many Jewish synagogues have carefully avoided reading this passage! But in this most amazing passage, God has given us not only the details of the life and death of the Messiah, but also the reasons and results from His death! Here are the 12 verses of Isaiah chapter 53 (in blue), followed by my own comments (in black italic).
1. Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Indicates that few would believe in Jesus. (John 6:66, 12:37-38)

2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
Jesus had humble and poor beginnings, not coming as a royal King, but as a commoner. (Luke 2:7)

3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Jesus was despised, rejected, and suffered at the hands of His own people! (Mathew 27:21-23)

4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
Even though Jesus would heal many, and take the sorrows for others, yet the Jewish people would consider Him cursed by God for it is written in Deuteronomy 21:23 ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree’ (Luke 19:41-42)

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Though Jesus was cursed, it was for a reason! He was crushed for our sins so that we could be healed and have peace with God! Note also that this prophecy says that the Messiah would be ‘pierced’. The Jewish method of execution is stoning, though God spoke through the prophet Isaiah and said He would be ‘pierced’ because He knew that Jesus would be crucified, having His hands and feet nailed (pierced) to the cross!

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
It would be God the Father’s will that all sin would be laid upon Jesus! (Gal 1:4)

7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
This verse shows how Jesus, the sacrificial lamb, would be silent before His accusers. This happened as recorded in Mathew 27:12.

8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken.
Jesus was judged and died without having any physical descendants. (Mathew 27:35)

9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
Jesus died alongside common criminals but was given a rich man’s tomb in which He was buried! (Mathew 27:57)

10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
Even though verse 8 says that Jesus was cut off and had no descendants (physically) yet this verse says that after being made a guilt offering (crucified), Jesus would ‘see his offspring and prolong his days’! Amazing prophecy showing that even though Jesus would be killed, He would rise from the dead, live again and that spiritually He would have many offspring! (Mark 16:16)

11 After the suffering of his soul, He will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
God the Father saw the suffering of Jesus and was fully satisfied. Sin demanded a sacrificial death and in doing so, Jesus opened the way so that through knowledge of what happened on the cross, humankind could again be justified! (seen as perfect and spotless in God’s sight.) (Romans 5:8-9, 2 Cor 5:21)

12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jesus is now exalted by the Father, for He bore our sins, dying on a cross, and even when He was dying He interceded for those who crucified Him saying ‘Father forgive them for they know not what they do!’ Amazing! (Luke 23:32-34)

With all this in mind, can there actually be any doubt as to who Jesus was? We have seen that He didn’t just claim to be a teacher, or a spiritual leader. He claimed to be the one and only Messiah, God in the flesh! His birth, life, and death all accurately and specifically fulfills prophecies recorded hundreds of years earlier. So God has not left us without a means of knowing who the Messiah is! But you have to decide – for Jesus is either a lunatic, a great liar, or He is the Lord to whom we all have to bow. With all this in mind, lets quickly see what the Bible says about salvation and coming into a relationship with Jesus Christ – the King of Kings!

What The Bible Says About Salvation

1. That salvation is found in Jesus and Him alone. We have already stated His claim that no one can come to the Father except through Him. The Bible constantly confirms this by saying:

Acts 4:12 ‘And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.’
1 John 5:11-12 ‘And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.’

2. That salvation cannot come by performing good works but through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for your behalf.

Eph 2:8 ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;  not as a result of works, that no one should boast.’
Romans 3:20 ‘…by the works of the Law no one will be justified in His sight.’

3. God now offers salvation as a gift to those who will believe.

Romans 3:21-24 ‘But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known… This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified as a gift by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:23 ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’

4. You need to act to receive the gift of salvation.

John 1:11-12 ‘He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.’
Acts 2:38 ‘Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'”

The God head Trinity

You can also now compare the God head Trinity to a book. For example, a book has length, width, and thickness. The length is not the book’s width, the width is not the book’s thickness. These three dimensions can be described separately, yet they are connected together. If you remove one dimension, you are no longer describing a book. In the same way, the Godhead has three separate members that are connected together, and if you try to remove one you no longer have the Godhead. The Trinity is also like water that can exists as liquid, solid- ice, gas-vapor.

The Bible on the Trinity
Most people are ignorant of the Bible itself, and they listen to liars, persons with hidden agendas too often..

Bible Verses on the Trinity for  God is “three in one”

Verses saying Jesus is God:

Heb. 1:8 God the Father called the Son “God.”

Isa. 9:6 The “child” is called the “Mighty God.”

Mt. 1:23,   Is. 7:14 Jesus is called Immanuel, which means “God with us.”

John. 1:1 Jesus (the “Word”) is called “God.”

1 Tim. 3:16 Paul said Jesus was God “manifested in the flesh.”

Col. 2:8.9 Paul said Jesus was the “fullness of the Godhead bodily.

John. 20:28 Thomas said to Jesus, “.my God.”

Titus 2:13 Paul called Jesus “the great God.”

John 10:30 Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.”

Gen. 1:1; Col. 1:16 The Bible said God created all things and that Jesus created all things.

Mic. 5:2 The messiah (Jesus) had always been in existence.

Isa. 44:6; Rev. 1:2,8, 11,13 God claimed to be the “First and the Last.” So did Jesus. God clearly states that He is the only savior. The Bible also says Jesus is our savior.

Other persons  had viewed Jesus as God

1 Timothy 3:16    -Paul Said Jesus was God manifested in the flesh.  “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the nations, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
John 20:28    -Thomas called Jesus God.    “And Thomas answered, and said unto him, My Lord and my God.”
Colosians 2:8,9    -Paul said Jesus was the fullness of the Godhead bodily. “.Christ. For in him dwelleth all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

Titus 2:13    -Paul said Jesus was God.   “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our savior, Jesus Christ.”
Luke 8:39    -After Jesus healed a demon possessed man, Jesus said:    “Return to thine house, and show what great things God hath done unto thee. And he went on his way and published throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done unto him.”

Rom. 14:10b -12    -Paul uses the words Jesus and God interchangeably.  “For we shall all stand before the judgment Seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So, then, “every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

Luke 8:39    -After Jesus healed a demon possessed man, Jesus said:    “Return to thine house, and show what great things God hath done unto thee. And he went on his way and published throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done unto him.”

Phil. 2:5b, 6    -Paul said Jesus was God.  “. Jesus Christ, who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.”

The people around Jesus understood Jesus was claiming to be God
John 10:33   -The Jews felt Jesus was claiming to be God.  “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy: and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.”

John 5:18   -The Jews felt Jesus was making himself equal with God.
“Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.”

Jesus claimed to be God
John 10:30   – Jesus said He was part of God.  He said,  “I and my Father are one.” Exodus 3:14   -God identifies Himself to Moses by calling himself “I AM.” Twice Jesus refers to Himself as the “I AM.” Those around him knew exactly what he was saying and they were greatly offended.
“Jesus said unto them, Verily verily, I say you, before Abraham was, I am. Then they took up stones to cast at him .”  (John 8:58, 59a)
“Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them I am he. As soon as he said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.”  (John 18:4b, 5, 6)
[Note: In the Bible, the word “he” is in italic. Whenever a word was not in the original Greek or Hebrew, but was put in for clarity, the King James translators put the word in italic. This was done so there would be no misunderstanding about what was and was not part of the original text]
Revelation 1:8 -18   -Jesus said, he is the Almighty Lord. The following is a vision John had of Jesus. Verses 2, 13, 17,18 identify Jesus as the:
(v 2) “. testimony of Jesus Christ .”
(v 8) “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
(v 11) “Saying I am alpha and Omega, the first and the last.”
(v 13) “And in the midst of the seven lamp stands, one like the Son of man .”
(v 17b. 18a) “Fear not; I am the first and the last; I am he that liveth and was dead.”
Isaiah 44:6   -In Rev 1:11, Jesus says He is the first and the last.  Isa. 44:6 shows that the one who is “first and the last is actually God.  “Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer, the Lord of host: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is not God.”
The Bible says Jesus is God

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which, being interpreted, is God with us.”  Micah 5:2

-Jesus (the Messiah) is everlasting.    “But thou, Bethlehem, Ephrathah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel, whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Zechariah 12:10

-God uses the first person (“me”) and the third person (“him”) to describe Himself as the one who will be pierced.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look upon ME whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for HIM, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
John 1:1    -Jesus (the “Word”) is God  “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Revelation 22:6, 16   -The book of Revelation says that Jesus and God are the same.
(v6) “And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true; and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
(v 16) “I, Jesus, have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches .”
Every knee will bow to both God and Jesus.  Here are verses talking about every knee bowing to God.
“Look unto me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God and there is none else. . that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear”  (Isaiah 45:22,23b)
“. stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God.”  (Romans 14:10b, 11)
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow . and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”  (Philippians 2:10a,11a)
John 5:23    -We have to honor Jesus that same way as God the Father.    “That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father who hath sent him.”
Both God and Jesus are called our “Savior.”   Here are verses calling God our savior. “. I am He, before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord and besides me there is no savior.”  (Isaiah 43:10b, 11)
“. And there is no God else beside me, a just God and Savior; there is none beside me.”  (Isaiah 45:21b)
Here are verses calling Jesus our savior.
Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  (Acts 4:12)
“But hath in due time manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God, our Savior;”   (Titus 1:3)
“Not purloining, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things.”  (Titus 2:10)
“But after the kindness and love of God, our Savior, toward man appeared.”  (Titus 3:4)
“To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.”  (Titus 1:4)
“Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ, our Savior,”  (Titus 3:6)
Both God and Jesus created all things.  Here are verses that say God created all things
“Ah, Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and outstretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: . the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name,”  l (Jeremiah 32:17, 18b)
Have we not all one father? Hath not one God created us?”  (Malachi 2:10b)
“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he who formed thee from the womb: I am the Lord who maketh all things; who stretcheth forth the heavens alone; who spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.”  (Isaiah 44:24)
“And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the Heavens are the worlds of thine hand.”  (Hebrews 1:10)
Here are verses that say Jesus created all things
“. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. .Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they were created.”  (Revelation 4:8b, 11)
“All things were made by him (Jesus), and without him was not anything made that was made.”  (John 1:3)

“Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; For by him all things were created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers – all things were created by him and for him. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”  (Col. 1:15, 16)
“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”  (Hebrews 1:2)
Both God and Jesus raised Jesus from the dead.  Here are verses that say God raised Jesus from the dead.
“And to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.”  (1 Thes. 1:10)
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”  (Romans 8:11)
Here are verses that say Jesus raised Himself from the dead.
” Jesus answered, and said unto them Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”  (John 2:19)
“Therefore doeth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.”  (John 10:17, 18a)

Verses saying the Father is God:

John. 8:41 “The only Father we have is God Himself.”

Eph. 4:6 ” . one God and Father of all .”

Verses saying the Holy Spirit is God:
Acts 5:3,4 “. you have lied to the Holy Spirit . you have not lied to men, but to God.”

Acts 28:25,26 Referring to Isaiah 6:9,10,  Peter said the “Holy Spirit” spoke to the prophet Isaiah.  In the book of Isaiah, it says the “Lord” spoke to the prophet Isaiah.

1 Cor. 3:16 “Don’t you know you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?”

Verses saying there is only one God:
Mk. 12:32 “You are right in saying God is one and there is no other but him.”

Mk. 12:29 “The Lord our God, the Lord is one.”

1 Tim. 2:5 “For there is one God .”

To be a Christian is based on the greek word anointed, Christos, a person we can see the anointing of the Holy Spirt of Jesus Christ.. do we see yours easily? http://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/06/22/as-to-what-is-a-christian/

Beyond the show of a doubt the devil himself firstly really hates any references to the Holy Spirit, the anointed ones, the idea that Christians do have now empowering to overcome the devil too. and the prophets were clearly anointed, and performed miracles, and the same Jesus yesterday, today and forever who lives in us today too, who was anointed and performed miracles he had also said that believers will do even greater things now too. In the reality now after all Samson next lost his anointing.. and so did King Saul lose his anointing .. and David asked God not to take away his anointing too after he had sinned with Bathsheba.. The anointing is sacred, the anointing is the Holy Spirit, and now all believers in Christ have the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The same anointing of Holy Ghost power that gave Jesus the power to overcome Satan’s power, temptation!! The Holy Ghost power and anointing can be yours, today!! This is the source of power to overcome Satan everyday of your life if you continue to follow after God, to obey and do his will daily. If you rebel from God do not expect this anointing to be of help to you. You need to willfully continue to walk humbly in the light, in Jesus himself still too. And if you let God do it, he will empower, equip you to do his will, equip you uniquely for service to him like he has done to many others. When Jesus was being tried in Pilate’s court, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times. He didn’t have enough courage to even say that he knew Jesus. let alone be His witness, but after the Holy Ghost fell on the 120 at Pentecost. What a difference!! The first sermon Peter preached, 3000 were converted. You can have this kind of power now in your life. Yes it’s free for the asking humbly to all who already do believe and are baptized in Jesus as both their Savior and Lord. You are free to live the empowered life if you daily choose to do so, or you can next even daily choose to walk merely in your own sinful thing, in the flesh.Perhaps you still do feel you are not worthy to receive this power. Possibly some have told you that this power is not for today. Or you feel overcome by the pressures of life and don’t know how to ask for the power of the Holy Ghost to take over your life. Right now that all you need to do is simply to humbly ask God even again. The Bible says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). It is His desire that you receive everything He has for you! Tthe Bible declares it to be so! ” And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the hand-maids in those days will I pour out my spirit” (Joel 2:28-29). It’s still for as many who call upon the name of the Lord!

(Mat 7:7 KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

(Luke 11:10 KJV) For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

(Gal 5:22 KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(Gal 5:25 KJV) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Pass it on. The Lord wants to infuse you with an anointing, by the Holy Spirit, which will propel you through every line of Satan’s defense. This is how you can overcome every situation as you receive “power from on high!” Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself was full of this power as He withstood the onslaught of the devil while fasting in the wilderness. The Bible records that John the Baptist baptized Jesus, the Lord of Glory, in the river Jordan prior to Him praying and fasting 40 days and 40 nights. At the end of this fast Satan came to Him and tempted Him in His spirit, soul and body to sin against God. But Jesus resisted Satan’s offense with the statement, “It is written!” After this, Luke 4: 14 states, And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. If Jesus, walking as a man, needed the power of the Holy Spirit to stand against the assault of the devil, I ask you, “How much more do we need the power of the Holy Spirit?” There’s a Holy Spirit revival coming, and it’s can also be coming even through your words, through your hands and through your life!

Would you like to have God’s Holy Ghost Power in your life? If so please pray this prayer humbly. “Dear Heavenly Father. As per your promises in your word, the Bible do next baptize me with your Holy sprit, power. I accept the promise of Acts 2: 38 & 39 and the anointing power of the Holy Ghost. I ask to have the power that Apostles had received even in my life. I also do want the power to overcome Satan everyday, in all areas of life! Jesus you are my lord so by your Holy Spirit, please fill me now and take full control of my life, my body and even my tongue. Let my tongue now also give praises to God the Father and His Holy Son, Jesus in a Heavenly language. I put myself, my all under your full control. Amen!”

We should never take for granted, that we are filled with Gods Holy Spirit. Each and every day, would it not also be a good idea to ask the Lord, ” Lord please fill me a fresh with your Holy Spirit, anoint my head again a fresh with the Holy Spirit, fill my cup and let it over flow with the peace, power and joy in the Holy Spirit “. Thank you Jesus.  May the Lord anoint you head with oil, may your cup over flow.”   https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/11/09/the-consistent-ongoing-symbols-of-the-holy-spirit-in-the-bible/

and the issue is not just how to be filled with the Holy Spirit but how to stay filled with the Holy Spirit

Get baptized in the Holy Spirit as the Lord has commanded. Jesus was as human as we are, and it was only after he was water-baptized by John the Baptist, and the Holy Spirit entered him from Heaven, and God said “This is my son in whom I am well pleased” that Jesus’ ministry began. Before that, He wasn’t yet enabled to do great miracles.  So if Jesus couldn’t do it before He was baptized in the Spirit, how can you or I? No amount of waving a crucifix or using a Bible to block devils can stop the work of Satan. Only being FILLED with the Spirit, when the demons can see the Spirit of God living in you and they panic, and only by casting them out in the mighty name of Jesus, can you go forth and do what Jesus has commanded. http://firefromheaven.blogspot.com/2005/07/church-praying-in-tongues.html

Come, Lord Jesus, and fill these people full of the Holy Spirit.  In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul lists out these gifts. Any Spirit-filled Christian can eventually manifest or release any of His gifts as the Holy Spirit directs him  https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/05/03/the-holy-spirit/  https://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/05/03/the-holy-spirit-continued/

As per the other real question as to whether apostles, prophets, pastor teachers exists today as in the Time of Jesus Christ first needs to be superseded by the question as to whether all true Christians are now also anointed by the Holy Spirit, Anointed, Greek word , Christos meaning one who shows evidence of the holy Spirit.. and the answer is yes. all true Christians are evidentiary now also anointed by the Holy Spirit, and if the other people cannot see this you certainly are not a true Christian.

Free indeed.

It is good to take stock and reflect if you are on the right Path yourself or are you continually being led astray by the others

(John 8:32 KJV)  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(John 8:36 KJV)  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The false subservience to false religious overlords even in Christianity  is still too common these days in many churches  in spite of the fact that Jesus Christ Himself has set his sheep free from the bondage of men, and the devil..

(Jer 34:8 KJV)  This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them; 9  That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew his brother. 10  Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go. 11  But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids. 12  Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 13  Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying, 14  At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear. 15  And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: 16  But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids. 17  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

Because true Born from above Christians, believers are one spirit with Jesus Christ, what the bad preachers, what ANY of these Spiritual tyrants do to  any of  “Christians” they also now do to Jesus himself  and they will, will will next really suffer for it as well!

(Mat 7:22 KJV)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Mat 25:41 KJV)  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43    I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44    Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45   Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46   And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Sadly in real life both God, Good and bad preachers coexist but presently it seems  the bad preachers seem to outnumber the good ones  2:1

SATAN Wants You even today. The same very busy devil who haunts the Las Vegas casinos, Church Bingo Halls, Lottos,  who often even in churches  wears a nice suit and tie to look respectable enough to con you out of your money, with half truths too, and  with the false promises of earthly wealth in exchange for “your sacrificial gift.”   Wonder how  he got his suit too?  He wants also you, he wants  to  net you, to fleece you, and for you be diverted, to miss the boat, he does not want you on the straight, narrow path that next also leads to Heaven, rather he wants you on the broad path that  leads to hell.  He clearly does not want you to live by faith in God to look after you, rather he wants you to do your own thing, for you to look after yourself. Don’t trust God he says, trust in others, trust in the Apostate Church, and in the crooked preachers too, or trust yourself rather. Trust even the too often bad Preacher these days who first  Wants His Cut. He the preacher now also does wants to know  What’s in it for him?

The Preachers still seem these days to be  always hollering about how everyone must submit to THEM, it is a one way enforced submission and not rather rightfully a voluntarily ,reciprocal mutual one, and pay up, pay the  tithe , or they’ll roost in Hell for all eternity.  The same too often false PREACHERS who refuse to submit to others and to the whole   Word of God especially. Telling the truth and sharing ALL the counsel of God as the  Apostle Paul did (Acts 20:27) can be very costly with the preachers losing not only control of the money but CONTROL over people’s lives,  and the false gratification it brings to their too often already swelled egos too.  Satan likes to have   the church members stranded in the Old Testament paying of the  of tithe that  next will be too often abused by the too often bad pastors now as well..

God’s ideal of a real Church now would STILL be where where everybody was just one  big happy family of  brothers and sisters  behaving in love , decency, honesty too… but NOW even many homes, families do not have this and why? The devil, sin and self centeredness, false pride RATHER run the home LIVES and yes many churches, church pastors now too.

God took the initiative to have a great church by even imparting freely too  His good Holy Spirit gifts to all, all of these mostly Gentile converts now too.  But some how along the way these great gifts and the related gifted men and women they have next too often been rather neglected, abused, distorted.. and many people these days in the churches even  need to be  rescued  from these religious kidnappers, oppressors.  The Preachers themselves too often also falsely say do what I say and not what I do.. and especially not the the too often bad things.

Sadly ” When you’re about to be thrown out onto the street for lack of rent money, you just try to get one of those tithe-collecting tycoons to share with you the way the first century Christians did with those in need. Yeah, right, he’ll “PRAY” for you, that is, if you can get past his entourage of ushers. ” Who likely first will say your are poor cause you alone are at fault, are in sin or the lying, bad  preacher will say you did not give the money to me, you gave it to God and God alone now, next is the one who will pay you, help you.. such hypocrisy too. Tithe givers and tithe  Collectors live high on the hog while the poor “pew Christians” struggle to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads.   (I Cor.12:5) Jesus clearly FORBADE the hierarchy (bottom-to-top pecking order) in His Body. He said in Matthew 23:8: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and ALL YE ARE BRETHREN.  Early Christians gained a reputation among non-believers for loving one another and being charitable toward the poor in their midst.  But that is clearly now how it is these days, these days the privileged few “in ministry” fatten themselves at the expense of the struggling wage slaves out in the pews. Instead of being tenderly cared for by so-called shepherds, poor “pew Christians” get threatened that God’s gonna sick satan on them for failure to pay the preacher his cut before buying groceries and paying the rent.  Satan now loves to see their kids go hungry while poor Christian parents pay tithes “by faith”, sacrificing  the thin sliver of income left after rent, transportation and utilities are taken care of. God is NOT not at all pleased with any of such religious persons.

Go to any of the preacher for serious help and do you think you really are going to get it next? Often not now too unless you FIRST give more money, even your full “tithe” to Him?   the preacher’s palm firstly seems still  does even needs to be  greased with a lot of  money?  What happened to the kind, loving , caring preachers? Died with the dinosaurs? But don’t even expect now even the help to be real, valid next too.  I myself rightfully always prefer to go to God alone   still and not to any preacher. In reality now as well if your are laid off, sick, unemployed, poor and there just ain’t much money to be gained from you don’t expect to be welcome back to most churches these days, I mean the religious social /Cultural/pride clubs, not really Christian Churches.

In some churches all they seem to still talk about all the time is giving more of your donations and tithing, 10 percent generally of your wages, and why?  And now also why all the fuss over only one or two isolated and misapplied verses ABOUT TITHING in Malachi 3? what about all the other verses in the Bible about tithing, especially in the New Testament.. oh  they do not exists in the New Testament?

I Tim.2:5 which states that there is only ONE Mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus. And not some other human being that must now accepts his direct representative, supposedly on God’s behalf.  And NOWHERE in the New Testament does God even authorize him to take up, spend  any of tithes in His Name. “Spiritual tyrants would demote us from our exalted place in Christ and relegate us to being tribute-paying peons who work and slave to build THEIR religious empires.  The false Tithing preachers do radically alters our relationship with God, from being His child receiving His favors solely through His grace in Christ, to some hard-nosed “prosperity partnership” whereby God only dispenses answers to prayer in exchange for cold, hard cash.”

Prideful, ambitious, control freak, pompous  Satan and his earthly followers do hate the way God now has redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Gal. 3:13; 5:18 ) and he hates  us being freed, free in Jesus Christ, by our blood-bought freedom too.

Satan is really delighted now to see all the enslavements, abuse,  chicanery and robbery going on in his rather den of thieves masquerading as a true church or a house of God!  The devil and the too often bad pastor claim they knows what’s best for the flock  so they’d better not take their freedom in Christ too seriously. Satan laughs at the sheep being able to hear the Voice of the Good Shepherd for themselves (John 10:27) he would rather  would rather have them listen to some amusing preacher who perversely usurps the place of God the Father in their lives. These leeches also lay heavy burdens on  God’s sheep , heavy burdens God  never authorized!  Satan and his bad preachers continues to rob God’s people of their identity, self worth,  of BEING sons of God, made free in Christ, part of  the House of God.  “Instead, that honor is  bestowed on some multi-million-dollar cathedral funded by TITHES AND OFFERINGS (freewill offerings are fine when necessary to meet REAL needs like feeding the poor and for missions, etc). Satan would far rather get Christians obsessed with remodeling the “sanctuary” (an Old Testament term) to the point where they neglect the care of poor Christians (God’s TRUE house). Admittedly, Christians must meet SOMEWHERE, and it might not be workable for the saints to assemble in private homes as they did in the First Century. But the local sheep shed must never be a white elephant on the backs of God’s people who are called to liberty. The REAL truth is the BODIES of God’s people ARE the real House of God (see I Cor.6:19).  Today’s tithing doctrine is an indigestible invention of carnal greedy religious wolves.  Tithing creates resentment and jealousy in the Body of Christ. Tithing turns smiley preachers into shiny-shoed tyrants  Don’t you think the good Lord has feelings too, and preachers oughta treat His property with respect? Through the Tithing Lie, satan has created a class system of cliques in what originally was a church knit together in the love of Christ, sharing and caring one for another AS EQUALS (Acts 4:34-37; 2 Cor.8:13-14). Those ancient Christians actually shared their possessions with one another. I can just hear some pious preacher yelling that today that means only SPIRITUAL possessions, and hands off HIS Ferrari coupe! ”  The devil just loves this division of haves and have-nots in the institutional church…and  the way I see it, life’s way too short to give credibility to the cold, dead institutional church by paying the tithe tribute to it  ”

There are yes there now are still too many  false sheep who worship those too many crooked evangelical pastors too dressed in nice suits. Not trying to impress anyone, or showing off I next went to a new church dressed in my clean, regular daily clothes. I next too was surprised when no  one said hello to me nor did they great me, and a few services later this continued to happen. So I prayed about it and to my surprise God said they were harlots, prostitutes. Embarrassed at this revelation I decided I would fully proof for myself this was true. So next Sunday I put on a white shirt, tie, nice black pants, and a white sports jacket and most everyone said hello  to me. Incidentally the same thing happens to me on the bus as well.. Why?  Also the very same pastor of this professing Christian church dressed there in a nice suit who also did not talk to me as well was next charged with abuse, slander, lying, misappropriation of church funds, and was eventually fired. Now these days when I see these peacock members, deacons, ushers  strutting around church in their fancy suits trying to impress the others , it causes me to be sick to my stomach still. It would be better if they used the money rather to help the poor and needy in their own church.

(Eccl 10:7 KJV)  I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

Satan especially loves this one: Sons become servants who fearfully pay religious tribute, contrary to Gal.4:7 and Jesus’ own words in Matt.17:25-26 where He declares that the children are free (from religious taxation). Tithing severs us from the grace of God by substituting a performance-based relationship with God.  Tithing contributes to the destruction of one’s essential faith, all very much to Satan’s delight.  Tithing also clearly helps corrupt ministers to be led more astray by the lure of more earthly riches.   This tithing sheep-fleecing today firstly all amounts to spiritual fraud. lies, dissentions… for we are Christ’s Royal Priesthood (I Pet .2:5,9)  and who are ALREADY seated with Christ in heavenly places (Eph.2:6) and these too often false preachers now would demote us from being freed, slaves of no man,  and also from being Royal priests before the Lord.

Deut. 12:32: What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: THOU SHALT NOT ADD THERETO, NOR DIMINISH FROM IT.

(Eccl 10:8 KJV)  He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

(Eccl 10:9 KJV)  Whoso removeth stones shall be hurt therewith; and he that cleaveth wood shall be endangered thereby.

While God does not command, mention  mandatory tithing in the New Testament, I might expect that God will bless some of the people who voluntarily tithe, give ten percent of all their income to God, in the place God specially now tells them to give too,  for God diligently rewards those who put their trust in Him, obeys and follows his revealed will to them, but for  sure God does not bless all of the tithers, for it depends on the initial reasons as to why they do tithe, which too often they can still be wrong reasons, selfish, self centered reasons like seeking self prosperity, financial security or showing off, boasting. For a true godly Christian believer is already  promised now personal security in God, and all of their needs, not wants and desires , to be meet..

Psalm 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Open rebuke is better than secret love. Those who sin rebuke before all, doing nothing by partiality, and those whom I love I chasten and rebuke before all as well. I   post  much of these facts, truths openly to all presently so they will all even repent today.  I rightfully  do not put up with any crooked cops, bad pastors, crooks and  I readily call the police, expose them , demand openly their full prosecution, dismissal too. Originally I gave many of them the doubt, but now I am convinced that most of them are deliberate, conscious crooks, specifically “hirelings” who should be fired, dismissed

I think we can agree that people world wide will next also read these posts,   and  that they will be upset by it and prosperity and properly respond to it too in Jesus name..

I also had sent my complaint to major news editors, major MPs, all the members of the legislatures in 4 major provinces now as well asking the government to deal with the false solicitation of funds, tithes under lies by any of the crooked evangelical pastors too.

Now at lest even the bad pastors also least cannot deny the fact they were given a chance to repent.. SEND THEM A COPY..  for it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. I have fired many pastors, seen the white terror on their wives faces when they also do see me.. they have the holy shakes, a spirit of holy fear..  the present public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves everyone’s’ best interest still.

Grace be to you and peace from God

 bvf4

http://mccainvrsobama.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/bible-versed-scenic-wallpaper/

(2 Cor 1:2 KJV)  Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

(2 Cor 1:3 KJV)  Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

(2 Cor 1:4 KJV)  Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

(2 Cor 1:5 KJV)  For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

(2 Cor 1:6 KJV)  And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

(2 Cor 1:7 KJV)  And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

(2 Cor 1:9 KJV)  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

(2 Cor 1:21 KJV)  Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

(2 Cor 1:22 KJV)  Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

(2 Cor 12:7 KJV)  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8  For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

(2 Cor 13:5 KJV)  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

(2 Cor 13:11 KJV)  Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Many people are falsely led these days to believe they can have, attain anything they want, which is not so.. Jesus Christ predetermines what is good, needful, essential personally for you.

The same Jesus Christ who has said (John 15:5 KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

(1 Tim 6:8 KJV)  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

(1 Tim 6:10 KJV)  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

(1 Tim 6:11 KJV)  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

(2 Tim 1:7 KJV)  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

(2 Tim 1:9 KJV)  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

(1 Tim 6:12 KJV)  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

(1 Tim 6:17 KJV)  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

(1 Tim 6:18 KJV)  That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

(1 Tim 6:19 KJV)  Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Many years ago some one had said that most marriage problems, divorce are over the issue of money..  some are, but many marriages break down are due to uncontrolled lusts of the flesh, and unforgiveness as well..

But I would agree that many problems amongst so called Christians, including church fights are often over over money, the control over it,  and many professing Christians depart from the faith over the false lust for more money and what money can buy for them.

(James 4:1 KJV)  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5  Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(1 John 2:15 KJV)  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

(1 Cor 16:22 KJV)  If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

Almost since my first job after graduating from university I had learned that people are not to be trusted, need to be supervised, and corruption still exists in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

(Mat 7:15 KJV)  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

(Mat 10:17 KJV)  But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

(Mat 16:6 KJV)  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

(Mark 12:38 KJV)  And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,

(Luke 12:15 KJV)  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

(Luke 20:46 KJV)  Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

(Phil 3:2 KJV)  Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

(2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

(2 Pet 3:3 KJV)  Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

A professing Christian person I know quite well who undeniably was guilty of tax evasions, theft, lying, abuse of others, slander and much more to cover up for the reality of his own negative acts, published a Christian Devotional on the net called ” The Lord is my Shepherd” , Well Jesus Christ for certainty was not, is not his shepherd.. rather his own sinful self is dominating his own  life.
