Is the Sabbath Day Still Valid Today?  No. The Sabbath was a ceremonial law given only to a specific people (the Jews), during a specific time period (the Old Testament), in a specific region (Palestine). The Sabbath was an object lesson for the Jews, picturing the coming Messiah in Whom believers rest for salvation. When men cease from their self-righteous labors, and rest upon the redeeming blood sacrifice of the Son of God, they are saved (1st Peter 1:18,19). Colossians 2:14-17 plainly teach that the Old Testament ceremonial laws are no longer applicable concerning Christians or Jews… “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ” (Colossians 2:16-17 — Note: All Scriptures are quoted from the trustworthy King James Bible).

Jesus is our Sabbath today, in Whom we completely rest for salvation. God required the death penalty in the Old Testament for a man who  merely picked up some sticks on the sabbath Day (likely to make a fire). Why did God require the man’s death? It is because picking up sticks represents Human Effort in salvation, which is a road to Hell. The Sabbath represents resting solely in Christ Jesus for salvation. Adding even one work negates, corrupts and cancels God’s free gift of grace. Romans 3:20 warns that no flesh can be justified by the keeping of the Law of God. Salvation is by faith alone!

Today we honor the “Lord’s Day” on Sunday, the first day of the week, when Jesus rose from the dead; but this is voluntary and not obligatory. It is grace and not law. It was a much better time in America when stores and shops all drew down their shades on Sunday to prevent window shopping. People used to honor the Lord. We’ve lost our nation today because we have forsaken the God of the Bible.;

Charles Taze Russell was the founder of Zion’s Watch  Tower magazine in 1879, which evolved into the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Still our best personal help basically comes not by listening to other people but personally, daily abiding in God’s word alone.. our help is still not in people, their mere books, sermons, tapes, videos, but dwelling in the Bible alone .. really!!! Many many persons do even today, these days misinterpret the Bible, it’s passages even firstly cause of their own real ignorance of what specifically the whole Bible says, and they as a result also do falsely rely on what others tell them.. which too often is still mere falsehood and lies.

One still personally cannot try thus to study the Bible, Old or New Testament in the flesh, without the spirit of God’s HELP who helped to write it now as well.

You  are using still their corrupted, unregenerated, human spirit to try to understand God and his truths and not by the Holy Spirit so they clearly here will fail at it still too. I also know some people have their minds falsely made up about a lot of things based even on the false teaching of their denomination and it would be a great shock to their system to admit it may be wrong..

In honor of Christ’s resurrection on Sunday, a day to especially worship Jesus Christ. It is not recorded anywhere in God’s Word that He imposed Sabbath-keeping on any holy men of God (or anyone else), nor how to keep the Sabbath before the Law of Moses was given about 1425 B.C., more than 2,500 years after Creation! Adam, Noah, Enoch , Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel), Joseph all did not observe the Sabbath and many others.True Christians, whether born-again Jews or Gentiles, have entered the Sabbath Rest which is Jesus Christ. Jesus, himself, did not keep the Sabbath. On the Sabbath, “Jesus said to them [the Jews], ‘My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.’ For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him; not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making himself equal with God” (John 5:17-18). Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath” (John 9:16).Jesus did not sin, by not keeping the Sabbath, because He was, and is, sinless. Indeed, Jesus is The Sabbath, in whom Christians (saved Jews and Gentiles) rest. All those who have not been born again, whether Jews or Gentiles, have not entered into The Sabbath rest. The Messianic Jews, Seventh Day Adventists and some other Sabbatarians are still so deceived and so hung up on the Sabbath (which none really keep) that they go to the absurd extreme of claiming that worshipping on the Lord’s Day is taking the mark of the beast!

The apostle Paul cautions the Philippians against Judaizing false teachers, apostle Paul  SPECIFICALLY calls them evil-workers..  as they work hard at trying to falsely destroy the Christian faith..   Messianic Judaism is not just Christianity for Jews or even Christianity in a Jewish context. It is the modern equivalent of the “Judaizers” who plagued the New Testament in the time of the apostles.   Because of a false infatuation still with Judaism and Israel, Messianic Jews,  Zionists Christians evangelicals, and others falsely do   encourage the establishment of what Revelation calls “ Babylon the Great,” a rising system of anti-Christ Jewish control and oppression centering in Jerusalem.  They falsely do glorify an apostate religious system of which Christ said He would never be seen in again until they say, “Blessed is He (Jesus) that comes in the name of the Lord.” (Matthew 23:39)   Jesus called this rejected system the “synagogue of Satan” for a good reason. Talmudic Judaism masterminded our Lord’s crucifixion. It went on to become the foundation of the modern world revolutionary movement, spawning communism, liberalism, and Jewish financial and media control.  This modern, Christ-rejecting Judaism is now nothing of which to be proud. Christ and the New Testament command us to beware of it (Matthew 16:6, Philippians 3:2, etc.) and flee from “ Babylon” on penalty of loss of our souls. Paul told Peter he “stood condemned” for allowing such Judaizers to again impose the bondage of circumcision. (Galatians 2) But many of today’s Messianic Judaizers want to do much more: impose not just mandatory circumcision on their followers but the entirety of the Old Testament law! What is real Christian spiritual? It is submission  Jesus. Just as He gave up everything in death for our redemption, so we must give ourselves completely to Him as His bride. “Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” (Luke 14:33) Complete repentance and surrender of self is all Jesus truly wants from us. This rupture is symbolized by a staff that God names “bands.” Most PEOPLE today would say that Judah is Israel. But it is not! This passage in Zechariah is one of many that proves Israel and Judah are not one and the same. JESUS CHRIST IS FROM THE TRIBE OF Judah, AND THE RUPTURE HAS ALREADY OCCURRED..

There is a need to still  hear continually,  personally, directly from the Holy Spirit and his words to you at all times.. and not from mere men..

The Holy Spirit will still then lead you to Jesus Christ solely and his words, all those even  found in the New testament..  and we all do  also need to be leading all people to Jesus Christ  too..  1 Corinthians 2″2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. God uses his Word to do this.  Rom 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the Word of Christ.” Faith comes from hearing, hearing what?; hearing from the mouth, the Word of Christ.

There are many false alternative revelations that are not from God  still,  many things you can preach or hear  today, even those items from your lusts, your schooling, philosophies, trends, fads of thinking, what your parents told  you, your pastors- teachers told l you, your friends tell you, what society tells you, what professors and so-called thinkers. leaders do  tells you. All what the devil tells you too.. and still  all claiming  to be the truth, in God’s will .

 But if it contradicts the world of God, the Bible, the Holy Spirit. and you have to known them all three now  well too,  or it makes you get your eyes of Jesus  and His Words, it is still now only all from the devil. 1 Corinthians 1: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

If you do not even know firstly also the Holy Spirit, as you are not even yet walking with Him then really are re you not still mostly putting your faith in things that are all false?

Are you really honestly  listening then now  to the Word of Christ or the word of the devil? 1 Jn 3:2 “Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. 1 Jn 3:3 And everyone who thus hopes in Him purifies himself as He is pure.” Purity can come only when the personal Word of God to us still has not been corrupted with man’s thinking and philosophies, even though they are deep and the revelations of demons.

Only believing in the pure undiluted Holy Spirit taught Word of God  can it  bring one the real faith. Anything else is of the devil and will bring you next death and destruction. Rom 14:23 “But the one who doubts is condemned if he partakes, because he does not do so from faith, and everything that is not from faith is sin.” Your time is now, your opportunity is now, the choices you make will take you deeper into corruption or deeper into the real faith. Unconfessed Sin will keep you away from the truth.

 If you listen to, obey  the personal  undiluted Word of God you get and have the real faith, but if you choose instead  the  false philosophical revelations of the devil, you get deceived  with corruption and you are building your house on the sand. The devil speaks the truth too like the young woman who had an evil spirit that spoke the truth about Paul and his associates.

There is only one Truth and that is the person of Jesus of the Bible, not even  the Jesus of your own making. If that offends you, if you’re offended by the Truth, then you have a very chilling fate awaiting you in Hell  Even if you claim to be a preacher,  Pastor now too..

Now I know specifically the truths that God has taught me personally even the last 30 years as a Pastor  so I can more easily now spot the much too many wolves in sheep clothing rather too.. so should we all…. the Holy Spirit still confirms it all to me too.. that is the reality..
