“CHRISTIAN & MISSIONARY ALLIANCE NAMED IN CONSPIRACY LAWSUIT FILED: CONSPIRACY TO DEFRAUD CHINESE CHURCH OF $650,000 CHURCH PROPERTYAND APPROXIMATELY $18,000 IN BANK ACCOUNTS by James Sundquist
In a major lawsuit, the Mid America District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (hereafter C&MA) was named by a group of former members of the Chinese Alliance Church of Colorado Springs. The C&MA is one of the largest Evangelical Protestant Christian denominations, with 2,010 C&MA churches in the U.S., and 440 in Canada, with approximately 417,000 members in the United States. The Plaintiff has alleged that the C&MA conspired to defraud and subsequently confiscate and convert their $650,000 church property and assets and emptied their approximately $18,000 in bank accounts, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, U.S.A. The Defendant, C&MA Mid America District Headquarters office, is located in Omaha, Nebraska. C&MA National Church Ministries Vice President Rev. John Soper endorsed and approved both the closure and the sale of the church property in two letters.
This is not unique. The Chinese church is just one of the more recent victims of the C&MA’s Church Growth Movement Church Multiplication, Church Health formulas for measuring spirituality, and Small Group grand strategies being implemented in the U.S., and Canada to takeover and transform churches. After the C&MA had given the Chinese Alliance Church of Colorado Springs an ultimatum of 15 months to redevelop, the lawsuit alleges that they reneged on it in 3 months. After closing the church down, the C&MA wouldn’t even let them keep their Chinese translation Bibles and library (refusing to return them even upon request in writing). After about 18 months the C&MA put the property on the market and sold the property to a Karate company. Named in the lawsuit are: Christian & Missionary Alliance, Randall Burg, District Superintendent for the Mid America District of the C&MA, the Mid America District of the C&MA, and Dr. Robert Trempert, Interim Pastor just prior to the closing of the church. This C&MA District includes Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The Plaintiff also alleges that the C&MA secured and conveyed the deed without informing the congregation, then used unfounded charges to evict the whole congregation, which was about 30 regular attendees, and closed down the church and threw them out on the street. It is also the intent of former members of this church to alert and warn all C&MA churches, the church at large, and the Asian community throughout the world, that this could happen to them too! We are grateful to the many members of the national media have already asked to run this story even before this press release went out. These Chinese Christians and how the C&MA applied the Reversion Clause of its constitution to this church feels like this a “mortgage made in Hell”…you have to make mortgage payments to the C&MA [or its own approved lender], including interest…then when the building is paid off in half of the 15 year mortgage, you the borrower get to (have to) give the C&MA lender the building and property too…what a deal! Many of these older saints who came from Communist China where they were persecuted hoped that this could not happen in the U.S., let alone at the hands of the church. They found out they were wrong! On July 1, 2006, members of The Chinese Alliance Church of Colorado Springs discovered that the locks on their building had been changed when attempting to attend a prayer meeting. One Sunday, July 2, 2006, the congregrants came to worship and found out they were evicted from their own building, with the knowledge and consent, the Alliance, MAD, Burg, and Trempet proceeded to lock the Chinese Church out of its own building. Instead of taking care of widows and the homeless, the C&MA leaders created them, while simultaneously blaming these victims. Someone did come to their rescue and hear their Chinese church’s SOS cries for help. There was a good Samaritan in Colorado Springs who showed great mercy and provided shelter for these approximately 30 fleeing Chinese refugee saints and helped them get back on their feet again, and that was Pastor David Fitzgerald and the Garden Ranch Baptist Church. Then the Garden Ranch Baptist Church gave immediate relief under emergency powers, then helped them redevelop church polity and comply with requirements of the State of Colorado and the IRS to start a new church…all in a period of about six months…without strings attached.” “Contrary to what C&MA leaders would have you do, and that is hear the victims side of the story vs. just the perpetrators, as good Christians and good Bereans, you should want to read the other side of the story for yourselves.”

To make it simple or appealing to the ignorant the CMA has simplifed their doctrines, Jesus Christ as Savior, Healer, Coming King, Sanctifier too… but what is really totally absent and very very signicant.. is that they dnot mentio often or at all Jesus as the helper of the poor people.. and what they do not practise giving aid, money to the poor people in their own church, rather when they become poor they kick them out instead? They CMA executives they only still help themselves?
PS In regard to the CHRISTIAN & MISSIONARY ALLIANCE I myself have ecountered pastors, district superintendents too both IN QUEBEC AND IN ALBERTA AND I TOO WAS SHOCKED FIRTSHAND TO NOTE HOW THEY DO READILY LIE, ABUSE PEOPLE, ARE RUTHLESS, REAL FACTS I HAVE A LONG TIME AGO BEFORE ALL THIS HAD DETAILED EVEN ON THE WEB, TO CANADA’S MAJOR NEWS EDITORS, THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENTS NOW TOO. Notice this before you next even do try to lie to me and say how good they are firstly. For you cannot deny my personal witness of how bad they are.
Sow the wrong seed and you can also next reap a whirl wind , church pastors included now, and there is really no such thing as a little bit allowable sins for pastors included, no such thing as being a little bit pregnant here too.. and it is still clearly unacceptable for any Pastors to counsel a man’s wife behind his back and without his knowledge, approval, permission, but even this sadly an unacceptable common occurrence in evangelical churches now too, even in the Baptist, Alliance and Pentecostals churches now too.. and this is how the war against the perverse pastors’ of the Toronto airport church and other similar bad churches had next escalated. When any spouse starts to talk to others about their family affairs they now are next definitely headed towards divorce wars as well..
The ends seem to justify the means for some. In the secular world it is common to contact your employer to try to put pressure on you when you disagree with a corporation, but in the religious world it is an unacceptable common ploy for bad undeniably pastors with no fear and accountably as well too often to try meddle into your family affairs, to try to seduce, counsel your own wife behind your back and knowledge, trying to divide and conquer as many persons have told me, they had the same bad experiences too, me included.

Their ignorance of the Bible is alone not the issue, most Christians, church leaders also wrongfully personally do pick and choose what parts of the Bible they will practice, and which one they will not. All professing Christians daily need to practice what they know, even the ten commandments.
I went to a Church for the first time in the Calgary NW Suburb AND I KNEW AFTER ONE SERVICE THE EVANGELICAL PASTOR WAS A CROOK, A LIAR.. My friends insisted I return to the church, but in the process they had told me that the pastor was lying about me, slandering me to others, even to them as well.. This has often happened to me by pastors of other churches, in Calgary, Montréal too, seems the much too many bad pastors like to slander and Gossip. At the next church service I had shared openly with the congregation at the end of the service that their pastor had been accused of lying, slandering me, and even stealing, , misappropriation of funds , lying also by others. The majority of Congregation members disagreed. Ten years later there was a knock on the door of my home and one of the church members told me face to face the same Calgary NW pastor was fired for lying, stealing funds. I always had wondered why it took them so long to see the truth about him?
It is absurd for anyone to now even to try to hoodwink me as to how supposedly spiritually the Christian Missionary Alliance Church is as well, rather in truth the CMA Corporation now is supposedly. It would not work for I already do know the much too many negative truths about the CMA firsthand and for many decades now too. No amount of whitewash can cover up their real dirty plays still too as I have seen firsthand.
Christians doing still dirty works and hiding behind titles, corporate names still is also unacceptable… does not impress me at all. My door bell rang and a person was there asking for donations to World Vision Canada, asking me if I had heard of it? Have I personally heard of it? a vice president of this corporation that I had personally known, been to his home too had already lied about me, slandered me, spread other people’s lies about me.. He was an ex Christian & Missionary Alliance Missionary NOW AS WELL. Like I said many times before God still expects all professing Christians to live a godly life, not just pretend they do… God does not overlook human right abuses even by so called Christians now too.. for God is not impressed by what Church they go to, where they work, and what fancy title they may have now as well.
(1 Cor 11:1 KJV) Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 1 John 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
“But Jesus called them [to him], and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all”. Mark 10:42-44.

Missing the point? 
An Alliance pastor had written to me and he had said.. “Thank you for your passion for the Church and fellow Christians. I’m a C& MA pastor and speaking from my heart, I simply want to serve God and shepherd His people without personal agenda. I always ask to God to lead me and give wisdom in godly living and ministry. I’m bothered by your comments about the majority of pastors being morally corrupted. On what ground did you say that 80% are not anointed and 70% commit adultery? and cheating, stealing, lying? It is heavy accusation toward those who commit full time to serve God. Please be careful and objective before you made those statement. Provide solid evidence and reference is one way to support your argument. I know many evangelical pastors who are dedicated good and faithful servants. Otherwise, this will only damage the Church without doing good. FYI, indeed the C&MA as a denomination does have strict requirement for pastors/ministers and bylaws for district and its churches. Also, I’m not the right person to comment on the lawsuit. However, if we trust the justice system, why don’t we wait for the trial and verdict before reading too much into it. ”
Here is my full detailed reply, from God as well..

(Ezek 3:18 KJV) When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
(Jer 1:18 KJV) For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Where in the world did so many of evangelical pastors wrongfully get the idea they personally now are beyond any rightful criticism? rebuke, corrections? Certainly not from God.
It is very ironic that I have often said that if you really want to know how spiritual someone is, do first see how they do in regard their emphasis on the importance of money, for their related greed for it will show their true spiritual values, or rather the lack of it. It is thus interesting that the CMA disputes causing News headlines was over money. Many persons already are too often rightfully complaining that too many evangelical pastors even are too often still greedy for filthy lucre, and they really do not care about the spiritual welfare, physical needs of others.

The first CMA pastor I met was an admitted coward, who had also told me that he had not made yet a full commitment in having Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life. His own wife was a slanderer, gossiper. His own daughter who lived with him was an admitted adulterer. The same pastor was also a home wrecker. He had also next tried to have me kicked out of the local church cause he was fearful of me, and in return was forced to resign by the local church board for trying to do so. And that was just the start of my bad introduction to the CMA.
The next CMA pastor I met was a con man, a shrewd salesmen, a story teller, who played mind games on other people, and he thus did not effect the people with any real, long lasting positive changes.
The next CMA pastor I met was an abusive person, even a thief, and he had a short lived ministry in the local church. The next CMA pastor I encountered in the same church was another Christian pretender, even a person who took bribes, was known to fellowship with a crook, a liar, an abusive person too. He was not any better.
And the first CMA district superintendent I had met was a con man, a shyster, manipulator who went on to be the president of the Canadian CMA too.
The next 6 CMA pastors in one church, district superintendents also were also con men, pretenders, imposters, unreal Christians, even unacceptable people abusers, even liars, slanders, gossipers, bashers of others.
The next too many bad CMA pastors I had personally interviewed openly admitted to me they did not use the Bible in counseling even, and thus they were mostly useless spiritually here too.

AND WE ALL SHOULD BE BOTHERED ABOUT THE 70 PERCENT BAD PASTORS. IT WAS MY FIRST CMA pastor who had told me that 70 percent of the pastors were bad, and it is statistics, andf my own DECADES OF experiences that confirm that 70 percent of Evangelical pastors wrongfully counsel divorce, commit adultery, cheat, lie. SLANDER, ABUSE, and steal as well.
This CMA itself is the most diabolic church I have dealt with in my lifetime in the last 50 years too.. and I have helped to fire many adulterous, bad pastors now too.. I have met many crooked CMA church pastors now too.. I had attended the CMA for 8 years, that same church that often cheats, lies, steals, slanders, abuses people, breaks UP HOME, MARRIAGES TOO.. and no one publically denied it when I had stood up in the Calgary First Alliance Church and told them what a liar their perverted senior pastor now was tool. No one! Every major news editor in Canada all 1000 elected politicians for years now too got detailed descriptions of how crooked this church, excuse me a crooked corporation really is and no one denied it too. Now have known two CMA presidents as well, many CMA pastors and I have never met a decent, honest one yet in Canada STILL too. No one had before you to this date had denied my witness of how bad this church was, no one. FOR THEY CANNOT DENY MY WITNESS OF IT.
I DO have 30 internet sites, including a follower of Christ http://groups.msn.com/AFOLLOWEROFCHRIST specifically WRITTEN FOR THE BAD, CROOKED EVANGELICAL PASTORS TOO.. and I do rightfully wonder whose ass you are trying to kiss.. by defending THE CMA wrongfully too. I rightfully have no use for them at all! Tell them all I have said so openly too.
The CMA is a pretentious church, a racist church, a discriminating church, an anti female church too, a lying church .. and in Jesus own words, the rich who persecute the poor.. Allaince AB Simpson and AW Tozer would be really disgusted with the CMA just like me too with it.. Jesus is not King, Lord of this bad CMA church for sure… and really do they help the local poor people in their own churches, and give them 15 percent of the income.. not on your life.. they are imposters, pretenders..
And you can quote all that I have said now too to anyone.

Why are alcoholics always in denial? and why do they often lie, cheat, steal also now? Because if they do admit the truth they are alcoholics, sinners too they do have now to repent of the sin of disobeying God’s word about being drunk too.. so they take the ostrich denial approach instead too often. Alcoholism still is a sin of a deliberate, personal choice, and to be set free you have to admit your sin, confess it, renounce it, ask God for forgiveness through Jesus Christ as well.. Look I am not alone in this view.. too many Canadian persons have noticed that we have much too many alcoholics in the governments, even as elected ones, even as leaders, Ralph Klein, Brian Mulroney was known for his boozing now too.. Regretfully still there much too many alcoholics even in the Conservative party now for my liking, , in this area too they are just as bad as the Liberal too it seems.. and who can forget Ralph Klein’s alcoholic outburts too, A man is certainly known what he is like by the friends he keep and having an brain damaged alcoholic as a friend, as a drinking buddy is really no virtue, it is a sad recommendation, a poor reference that you cannot even be now proud off.. The welfare system in Canada needs also to provide more understanding towards the persons with substance abuse problems. If you take a look at all of who is in the welfare programs, you will find that at least 10 percent of the persons involved with this program do even have a substance abuse problem. So mandatory attendance at Alcoholic Anonymous for them is a must too. These same persons with substance abuse problems can’t get a job next too otherwise

Preaching the Gospel is not an valid alternative to living it. There are several basic, ground rules in proper Bible interpretation that must be followed by all persons now before anyone even attempts to fully study the Holy Scripture. Those who approach the Bible without the Holy Spirit to teach them, may gain some insight into truths, their lives, but also will receive no definite, permanent, important life-changing revelation. Bible Commentaries should be used only very sparingly if at all. Even the most anointed man or woman, preacher of God clearly still can be wrong, biased, have a hidden agenda, limited, (or just shallow) in their understanding or interpretation of certain Bible topics, subjects. Do not believe any man or women, rather solely Take God’s word for it.

To receive complete freedom from these sinful bondages, the Believer must see his “habit” or being “hooked” as a spiritually rooted problem and confess it as a deliberate sin of Disobedience to God too. Smoking is not without potential real negative consequences and yes anyone would be an absolute fool not to factor that truth now as well . One cannot honestly claim to be using alcohol, smoking or marijuana for any purpose other than to falsely intoxicate oneself. to lose self control. One is not getting you closer to God by being intoxicated , but moving you away from Him. You’re doing the weed for YOURSELF, serving the sinful sinful self, the flesh now in reality. You are to die to self, the flesh and all of it’s lust thereof as a Christian now still too. The ends do not justify now the mans still as well.

There are several things not named in the Bible that should definitely be avoided by Christians, and pastors and preachers should be speaking against. For example; there is pornography – the vile and evil use of the bodies of others to make pictures and films of people in the acts of things that should be kept in private. There is also the act of abortion – the murderous act of killing the innocent human baby before they are ever born. There is slavery, are we going to advocate slavery because the Bible tells us how to treat those who are enslaved to us? I would hope not. Someone will probably start crying out, “That is straw men,” so be it, it is based on principles of Scripture. Are you going to burn them, because they wreak havoc on your excuses for alcoholic drink?
We know that alcoholicism is a terrible sin that now damages the person’s brain, affects their ability to work, to drive a car, and negatively affects their own behavior and affects many others too. The same reality is true of one taking now bad drugs as well. So I was also similarly shocked, surprised to discover the the falsely professing evangelical Christian Stephen Harper our Prime Minister likes to consume wine, alcohol, and he buys it for others as well.

Sin is unacceptable for all persons Christians or not, they have to try to deliberately abstain from sins, to have now the maturity, self control and if they let Jesus do that he will help them to do that by the Holy spirit.. otherwise if Jesus now cannot help them, cause they will not let him, they are backslidden sinners going to hell. Living for Christ: A Lifestyle that Honours God 1 Timothy 5:23: “Use a little wine for the sake of your stomach” A favorite verse of many people is Paul’s advice to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:23 to “No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.” We need to note several things. Timothy obviously doesn’t even drink grape juice! (Note: in an earlier letter 1 Tim 3:2-3 Paul had told Timothy an Elderto be abstinent (nephalion), and a nonparticipant at drinking places and parties (meparoinon). Obviously advise Timothy had carefully followed). Additionally this is only for a ‘medical’ reason. Most significantly, historical testimonies tell us the ancients advised the use of use of unfermented wine for medical purposes. For example, Athenaeus, theGrammarian (A.D. 280), specifically advises one use unfermented “sweet wine” (glukonoinon) for stomach disorders. He writes: “Let him take sweet wine, either mixed with water or warmed, especially that kind called protropos, the sweet Lesbian glukus, asbeing good for the stomach; for sweet wine [oinos] does not make the head heavy.” (Athenaeus, Banquet 2, 24). This sounds similar to Paul. Athenaeus calls the wine” lesbian” because its alcoholic potency had been removed. Pliny (A. D. 79), a contemporary of Paul and author of the celebrated Natural History gives similar recommendations. He advise the use of boiled unfermented wine called adynamon for sick persons “for whom it is feared that wine may be harmful.” (Pliny, Natural History 14,18). Even if it were alcoholic wine Paul was talking about, it would only justify medical uses of alcohol. Paul is not here suggesting moderate drinking. Be abstinent The New Testament often admonitions abstinence through the Greek verb nepho and the adjective nephalios

Unfortunately, translators soften the meaning of the word and translate it in amore figurative sense as merely “temperate, sober, steady. ”While there is no simplistic “Thou shall not” command concerning alcohol, the Bible warns against wine that intoxicates. In addition to the Bibles warnings, there are many reasons for a Christian to avoid alcohol. Up to half of all crime is committed while under the influence of alcohol. There is our influence and example to friends, family and children (you cannot teach what you refuse to practice – its called hypocrisy). Many people are strongly predisposed to alcoholism and one drink may begin a lifetime of struggle and suffering. Finally, in view of Jesus soon return, we should avoid anything that would adversely affect our minds, hearts, bodies and social example. Alcohol causes more pain, death and suffering than all illegal drugs and should be completely avoided by a disciple of Jesus for moral, spiritual and scriptural reasons
What about wine or alcohol? The Bible has no simplistic command that says, “You shall not drink alcohol,” though some warnings come close (The Bible doesn’t say, “Don’ttake LSD”, yet all Christians rightly condemn such drugs). However, the whole voice and direction of the Bible is clearly against intoxicating drink. We can tell this because wine that intoxicates is portrayed negatively in Biblical narratives and is routinely warned against ((Lev 10:8 KJV) And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, (Lev 10:9 KJV) Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: (Lev 10:10 KJV) And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; (Lev 10:11 KJV) And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses. This simultaneous approval and disapproval of ‘wine’ can seem confusing and contradictory. This problem largely disappears when we realize that the Hebrew and Greek words for wine (yayin and oinos) can mean either fermented or unfermented wine. The ancient writers who were contemporaries with many of the Biblical writers use the words to refer to both types of wine. For example in his book Metereologica, Aristotle (384-322 B.C.) speaks of unfermented grape juice (glukus), saying: “though called wine [oinos], it has not the effect of wine, for it does not taste like wine and does not intoxicate like ordinary wine.” Aristotle explicitly tells us unfermented grape juice was called “oinos” or “wine”. Other examples can be found in ancient Jewish writings also (The Septuagint, a translation of the Old Testament in Greek, often translates the Hebrew word for grape-juice “tirosh” by the Greek word ‘oinos’ or wine). The problem is not wine but what kind of wine. The Bible speaks against fermented wine, but for unfermented wine. Contrary to popular opinion, it was as hard if not harder to preserve fermented wine than unfermented grape juice. To prevent fermented wine from becoming acid, moldy, or foul-smelling, the ancients used many preservatives such as salt, sea-water, liquid or solid pitch, boiled-down must, marble dust, lime, sulphur fumes or crushed iris. In comparison the preservation of grape juice unfermented was a relatively simpler process. Ancient sources inform us of four main ways: (1) by boiling down the juice to a syrup, (2) by separating the fermentable pulp from the juice of the grape by means of filtration, (3) by placing freshly pressed grape juice in sealed jars which were immersed in a pool of cold water, and (4) by fumigating the wine jars with sulphur before sealing them. What follows are some Bible texts that are commonly misused by people to justify moderate drinking . Many think Jesus turned water into alcoholic wine at the wedding of Cana. Supposedly “good wine” is that which has a high alcoholic content. However, ancient authors from Jesus day considered “good wine” to be unfermented wine whose alcoholic potency had been removed by boiling or filtration. Pliny, for example, says “wines are most beneficial (utilissimum) when all their potency has been removed by the strainer.” (Pliny, Natural History 23, 24, trans. W. H. S. Jones, The Loeb Classical Library, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1961). Similarly, Plutarch tells us wine is “much more pleasant to drink” when it “neither inflames the brain nor infests the mind or passions” because its strength has been removed through frequent filtering. (Plutarch, Symposiac 8, 7). The ancient Jewish Talmud indicates that drinking to the accompaniment of musical instruments on festive occasions such as a wedding was forbidden. (See Sotah 48a; also Mishna Sotah 9, 11). Some interpret John 2:10 “well drunk” as meaning very intoxicated. But the Greek verb methusko is correctly translated “to drink freely” by the RSV of the Bible, without any implication of intoxication. New Wine in New Wineskins Christ’s statement that “new wine must be put into fresh wineskins” ((Mat 9:17 KJV) Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. (Mark 2:22 KJV) And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. (Luke 5:38 KJV) But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.), supposedly indicates Jesus approved use of alcohol. This is a strangein terpretation, as Jesus is not even talking about whether one should drink wine or not. Nothing in this passage supports drinking alcohol. It is probable that the wine is non-alcoholic as it is simply not possible for new or old wineskins to withstand the pressure of fermentation! Unfermented grape juice must be put into new wineskins. If new wine was put into old wineskins, remnant material from the pervious wine could start fermentation and develop gas with an enormous pressure that would burst and ruinboth the grape juice and the skin. Unfermented must, after it had been filtered or boiled, is ‘new wine’ which could be safely stored in new wineskins. Luke adds the following tothis story “And no one after drinking old wine desires new; for he says, ‘The old is good ‘”(Luke 5:39). Some people claim Jesus is commending old wine, which is likely fermented. They miss the whole point. In verses 33-39 Jesus is describing how the ‘old’ ways of the Pharisees don’t like the ‘new’ work of Jesus. Jesus says not to put new wine into old wineskins, a new patch on an old garment. He then concludes that one who is used to old wine won’t want the new. The person preferring the old (fermented wine) is the Pharisee who is resisting Jesus new teachings. The Last Supper During Passover time when Jesus instituted the last supper he referred to the wine as the “the fruit of the vine” ( (Mat 26:29 KJV) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. (Mark 14:25 KJV) Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. (Luke 22:18 KJV) For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. ). The noun “fruit” (gennema) emphasizes this ‘wine’ is that which is in its natural state, just as it is gathered. Fermented wine is not the natural “fruit of the vine” but the unnatural fruit offermentation and decay. The Jewish historian Josephus, a contemporary of the apostles, explicitly calls the three clusters of grapes freshly squeezed in a cup by Pharaoh’s cupbearer as “the fruit of the vine.” (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews 2, 5,2). The phrase is clearly used to refer to the sweet, unfermented juice of the grape. We should also note that all fermented products (leaven bread etc) were to be disregarded at Passover time. Numerous ancient Christian groups use unfermented grape juice for the last supper.

In speaking of the ungodliness of the Gentiles, Peter wrote, “For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of Gentiles — when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries” (1 Pet 4:3 – NKJV).
In listing the works of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-21, the apostle Paul mentions both drunkenness and revelries. But just in case that wasn’t clear enough, he added these words, “and the like” (v 21). This would be considered somewhat of a “catch-all” phrase for any evil thing not specified in the previous verses. In 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22, Paul wrote, “Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil” (NKJV). The word translated “good” is from the Greek kalos, meaning “commendable, admirable, excellent in its nature and characteristics, praiseworthy, morally good, noble, affecting the mind agreeably” (Strong’s). None of these traits can be ascribed to the use of alcohol.
The use of alcohol in moderation in social or private settings has many defenders, but no defense. Remember Paul’s admonition to Timothy, “Be not a partaker in other men’s sins, keep thy self pure” (1 Tim 5:22).

Barrack Obama says that he is a Christian.,.. so what.. we are all as Christians still to to judge a person is he is a really Christian now in the church.. or do you not read that verse in the Bible now too? and we are to expect fruits of this too.. Jesus said by their fruits you can tell if they are a Christian, for not everyone who says Lord, Lord Jesus is still a Christian.. a true Christian leader does not drink alcohol, get drunk,. support gay marriages, oppose apostle Paul’s writings, etc., he has so many strikes against him it is unbelievable that he could be a Christian, a pretending Christian yes.

Slander is telling an unsubstantiated fact, a lie.. I have substantiated my reasons, facts on my posts… as to why Obama is not a true, real practicing Christian for start.. As a pastor I too do know that 70 percent of people going to a Christian church are still non practicing, not real Christians.. lip service only Christians being happily married means nothing alone.. telling lies for Obama is wrong. Does he or does he not drink alcohol and how much now too? Does he also now give out playboy too? no such thing as little bit pregnant.. open the door an inch and the devil takes a mile.

And homosexuality is still wrong. drunkenness is wrong, abortion is wrong, gay sex is wrong, lust is wrong. lying is wrong. gossip and slander are wrong. pride is wrong, drinking alcohol for a leader is wrong.. 80 million Christians in the US believe this too,. in a recent poll 57 percent of Americans do not believe Obama is a Christian as well.
but lets unite on things that we can unite on. giving to the poor. looking after the orphaned. taking care of the widows. loving people unconditionally does not mean approving, justifying their sins. like Jesus Christ loves you and loves me.

In still one more act of piracy by the Christian & Missionary Alliance, Bruce Terpstra, District Superintendent of the Metropolitan District of the C&MA, has filed a major lawsuit against Community Church of Paramus (CCP) on November 19, 2010 in the Superior Court of Bergen County, New Jersey, Case # C-390-10. This Draconian act, should Bruce Terpstra succeed, would leave the members and Spanish congregation which meets there church-homeless, and follows the same pattern and template of what the C&MA did to the Chinese Alliance church in Colorado Springs (reported in Christianity Today and Colorado Gazette), the Vietnamese Boat People Church in Long Beach, California, Reedsville Church in Pennsylvania, and Gospel Community Church in Glen Cove, NY clear back in 1995 [Jury Trial ruled against the C&MA…see report in the full report], rendering members as trespassers on their own property. And just like they did to the Chinese Alliance Church, C&MA leaders declared the Community Church of Paramus meetings invalid. As in the case of the Chinese Alliance Church, the CCP mortgage was paid for by the members of this local church. The C&MA leaders trashed and held in complete contempt the local church’s constitution and bylaws, abused their spiritual authority, assassinated the character of its members, and threatened its pastor, Joseph Smaha, by yanking his credentials and declaring him guilty even BEFORE a fair ecclesiastical trial has taken place. Twelve years ago, Bruce Terpstra had falsely accused members of New Life C&MA affiliated church of intending to sue this church. He refused to repent when confronted for bearing false witness to these members or the congregation. A letter was written to Pastor Robert Tilli at Cornerstone C&MA Church, in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, when Bruce Terpstra was Senior Pastor there, informing him that the members had no intention of suing the church. But Terpstra still refused to repent. So it is ironic that now it is Terpstra who has really sued a church that had been in the C&MA. It is further ironic that Pastor Bob Tilli (now Senior Pastor at Cornerstone C&MA Church in New Jersey) gave a sermon (“Loose Lips Sink Ships”) which applies directly to Bruce Terpstra’s destabilizing a church in his own district with loose lips. Now contrast Bruce Terpstra’s threat of force with God’s people with Rev. Phil Roising’s, statement, Senior Pastor of Longhill Chapel, one of Terptra’s flagship churches in his C&MA Metro District, quoting John Wesley:
